Tampa Laser Hair Removal

Knee Laser Hair Removal

and Electrolysis

Smooth legs without missing the tricky spots around the knee. Every skin tone, on its own or with a legs plan, in Tampa.

The Area

The Spot the Razor Always Misses

The knee is the trickiest part of the leg to shave. The skin curves and folds, so the razor skips over patches, nicks easily, and leaves stubble right where everyone can see it. Knee laser hair removal in Tampa clears that awkward zone for good, so your legs look evenly smooth from thigh to ankle.

We have specialized in hair removal in Tampa since 2011. Most people treat the knees as part of a full legs plan, since it makes little sense to do the leg and skip its most stubborn section, but you are welcome to treat just the knees on their own.

  • Over and around the kneecap
  • The back of the knee, easy to miss shaving
  • As part of a legs or full body plan

Better Together

Treating the knees alongside the rest of the legs and feet keeps the result even and puts everything on one schedule, so you finish faster than booking sections separately.

Both, Under One Roof

Laser or Electrolysis?

Very few Tampa studios run both. We do, so we match the method to your hair, not to the only machine in the building.

Laser · The Fast Way

Best on Dark Hair

Laser covers the knee area quickly and works best on the dark, coarse hair most people have on their legs.

Every Skin Tone

Two Lasers, So No One Gets Turned Away

If a clinic told you your skin was too dark for this, they were describing their equipment, not your skin. Our Tampa studio runs two laser systems so no one is left out.

Alexandrite 755nm

Fast on Fitzpatrick types I through III, lighter skin with darker hair.

Nd:YAG 1064nm

Well suited to melanin-rich skin, types IV through VI, and strong on coarse hair.

Turned away before? Our treatments for brown skin were built for exactly that.

What to Expect

Quick, Simple, Done

Laser light enters the follicle, the pigment absorbs it and turns to heat, and the follicle is disabled. Over several sessions, the hair on and around your knees thins and eventually mostly stops returning. Because follicles are not synchronized, we space visits a few weeks apart to catch them all.

Before: shave the area 24 hours ahead, skip sun and self-tanner, and mention any medications that affect skin sensitivity. During: a cold cryogen gas fires with each pulse to keep you comfortable, and the knees go quickly. After: mild redness fades within hours, and you can head straight back to your day. Use SPF 30 on exposed legs during your course of treatment.

Questions

Electrolysis & Laser FAQs

Can I treat just my knees?
Yes, though most people treat the knees as part of a full legs plan so the result stays even. Either way works, and you decide at your consultation.
Why are knees harder to shave?
The skin curves and folds around the kneecap, so a razor skips patches and nicks easily. Laser treats the whole area evenly, which is why it solves the stubble the razor keeps leaving.
How many sessions will I need?
It varies with your hair and skin tone, but leg hair is usually dark and coarse, which responds well to laser. We give you a realistic range at your consultation.
Is it safe for dark skin?
Yes. Our Nd:YAG laser is well suited to melanin-rich skin, so you get results without the burn and hyperpigmentation risks of the wrong device.
